GIVING IS A ACT OF WORSHIP
The greatest act of love and generosity was God giving his son, Jesus, for us. Giving our time, talents, and money is simply our natural response to an understanding of the generosity of a good God.
What does the Bible say about Giving?
Proverbs 3 : 9-10
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with your first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing and your vats will brim over with new wine
Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine hours, and prove me how herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing that there wshall not be room enough to receive it.
2 Corinthians 9:7
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Tithing means you're being obedient to God, so you should give without expecting anything in return.
You are investing in the next generation
Our next generation is searching desperately for identity and belonging. Young people today are struggling with anxiety and depression at staggering rates and suicide amongst young people is at an all-time high.
We believe that the Church is the safest and best place for these young people to find identity, hope, healing, purpose, and belonging through the love of Jesus Christ.
The generosity of the people of the church helps create more opportunities for people to experience a life-changing moment with Jesus. There is no greater impact we could make together.
